→ Ruby points (cherry angiomas)
→ Milia (white heads)
→ Cholesterol deposits (Xanthelasma around the eyes)

What are skin tags?
Skin tags are small, soft, skin-coloured growths on your skin. They can vary in colour and size, from a few millimetres up to 5 cm wide. Skin tags are usually found on the neck, armpits around the groin, or under the breasts.

What are broken capillaries & spider veins?
Broken capillaries and Spider veins (telangiectasia) are tiny blood vessels that are visible through the skin.  They are common on the legs and the face, and most frequently affect women. They become more common as we age and our skin loses its elasticity.  The factors that can promote their formation are: change in temperature, alcoholic beverages and hot and spicy foods. Once they form, broken capillaries/spider veins will not disappear on their own but, they can be permanently removed by having a Vasculyse treatment.

What are ruby points?
Ruby points have a circular shape, can be small and level with the skin and can be thick and slightly raised.

What are milia?
Milia are small, firm, white bumps that also develop on the skin.  They look remarkably similar to calcium deposits; so much so that they are often mistaken for calcium deposits by those who develop them.

What are cholesterol deposits?
Xanthelasma are yellowish-white lumps of fatty material accumulated under the skin on the inner parts of your upper and lower eyelids.  The plaques contain lipids, or fats, including cholesterol, and usually appear symmetrically between your eyes and nose.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does the Vasculyse work?
The Vasculyse uses mild current to induce coagulation within the distended capillary.  The body then absorbs the unused capillary. This treatment is called Capillary Coalysis, the process by which unsightly, distended capillaries are absorbed and eliminated by the body.

Is the treatment safe?
During treatment, the probe simply touches the skin surface, following the dilated capillary. Vascular blemishes disappear on contact. Most other conditions are successfully treated in one or two sessions with minimal skin reaction. The disposable, sterile stylus tips are used only once, insuring your complete safety. The treatment is performed by professionally certified technicians who observe the strictest standard of hygiene. Skin reaction after the treatment is minimal and disappears after a few days.

Is the treatment painful?
This non-invasive procedure is relatively painless. It uses mild currents that have been employed in the esthetic world for more than four decades. At the very most, some patients may feel a slight pricking sensation.

How long do the treatments take?
Sessions are between 15 and 45 minutes in length. Depending on the area being treated. Most conditions are effectively treated in between one and three sessions. The results are truly amazing.

Is it really permanent?
Treated capillaries or skin tags will not return. New ones may appear somewhere else.
