WHAT TO EXPECT UPON OUR RETURN

COVID-19 SCREENING

We will be sending out a confirmation email the day before your appointment along with a screening/waiver form to be filled out and sent back to us. For those of you who do not have an email, we will have a form ready at reception to be filled out. Records will be kept on site in the event they are requested by Toronto Public Health.

 

OUR STAFF as you know, we’ve always been diligent with adhering to Toronto Public Health and Safety Standards. We take responsibility in providing you with a safe, sanitary and inviting environment. Our staff will be disinfecting treatment rooms, hair stations and esthetic areas between clients. High touch areas, including reception area and debit/credit card machine will be cleaned many times throughout the day. Our staff has also taken a refresher course on spa/salon infection control and earned certificates. Our team members will go through a Safe to Work check-in process prior to each shift, including temperature checks and masks.

 

UPON ENTERING your spa experience will be by appointment only. You will notice that there will be many changes due to social distancing. There will be no waiting area, signage, pre-packaged tools, hand wash station and hand sanitizers throughout the spa & salon. Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your appointment time as a team member will be available upon arrival to greet you. Before entering, your temperature will be taken with a non contact thermometer. Hand sanitizer will be provided at our reception, please apply after entering. 

 

MASKS must be worn at all times during your visit covering your NOSE AND MOUTH. If you come without a mask, one will be provided for you.

 

DURING YOUR VISIT we ask that you remain seated in your allocated area. Attend appointments with minimal personal belongings, no large totes or shopping bags. Please note we are prohibited in offering a manicure and pedicure at the same time.  They will be booked one after the other for the time being. When your service is complete and payment has been accepted we will walk you to the door so that we can invite in our next guests.

 

ADDITIONAL GUESTS cannot be accommodated at this time, please arrive for your visit alone with the exception of someone who may need a medical assistant/caregiver. 

 

LATE ARRIVALS we have a strict schedule that must be followed that includes additional disinfecting between guests.  At this time, we cannot accommodate late arrivals. Please call us as we may have to reschedule your appointment. Please note we understand these are trying times for everyone, if for any reason you are not able to keep your appointment time, please provide 24 hrs notice so we can allow as many clients as possible to get their preferred service.

 

FOOD AND DRINKS cannot be brought into the spa and salon for the time being. Please, do not stop to pick up that coffee! We are also not permitted to serve drinks. Personal water bottles must be put away with your personal belongings and remain there until the end of your service. There are no exceptions.

 

READING MATERIALS please note there will be no magazines or reading materials available at this time.

 

WALK-INS cannot be accepted at this time. Please give us a call and we will do our best to accommodate you. 

 

PAYMENT cash cannot be accepted for services, purchases or gratuity at this time. We will accept payment by Visa, MasterCard, Debit, etransfer or Upper Village Spa gifts cards.
